National Excurtion Study 2007 Students of Petra Chrisitian University


Thursday morning dated 15 February 2007, eighty students from Petra Christian University (UK Petra), IT Departments, Surabaya visited PT Dwi Tunggal Putra (DTP) on the ocation of National Excurtion Study 2007 to Jakarta. The students came a long way from Surabaya to Jakarta to visit IT company and some big corporation in Jakarta. They were eagerly want to find out 'the use of IT in corporation' in the real world.

During excurtion, students of UK Petra are hosted through DTP's office, servers, browsed to see DTP's earth stations located in Cyber building, and learned about DTP's businesses in Indonesia. As we know, practically university students eagerly interested to know a lot of IT knowledge and the real IT world, so in this excurtion DTP tried to give as many information about the use of IT in the real world specially for students from UK Petra.

Big enthusiasm came from all of the students, althought felt a little bit cold because server room temperature are 20C, plenty of questions warmed them up. Our NOC - Supporting Staff which available for 24 hours 7 days a week for all year, influenced by the great enthusiasm of those students, aswered all the questions and described about DTP's products and services.


Not long after luch time, the visit to DTP are ended and they went to another place for another excurtion study. Good luck to the Students of Petra Christian University. We will see you some other time in the future.
